Daily Log
Collection of daily project progress updates

In our Product Management tool, role-based permissions ensure that users have appropriate access and control over the Daily Logs. Here’s a breakdown of the permissions based on user roles:

1. General Contractor & their team:

  • Create a log for a project: General Contractors are authorized to create a Daily Log that serves as the master log for the project. They can document and track the construction activities, site conditions, and other relevant information.

2. Owner & their team, Developer & their team:

  • Create a log for internal purposes: Owners and Developers, along with their respective teams, have the privilege to create Daily Logs for internal use. These logs help them record project progress, monitor site conditions, and communicate updates within their teams.

  • View the Daily Log of the General Contractor: Owners and Developers, along with their teams, can access and view the Daily Logs created by the General Contractor. This access enables them to stay informed about the project’s status and collaborate effectively.

3. Subcontractor:

  • Create a log for internal purposes: Subcontractors have the ability to create Daily Logs specific to their activities and requirements. These logs help them maintain accurate records of their work, track progress, and communicate internally.

By assigning role-based permissions, our tool ensures that each user has the appropriate level of access and functionality within the Daily Log module. This promotes effective collaboration, transparency, and accurate documentation throughout the construction project.
