Status

Our product allows you to track the progress and status of RFIs (Request for Information) in the construction industry. Here are the different statuses that an RFI can have:

1. Draft:

  • When creating a new RFI, it is initially in the draft status.

  • The RFI is not yet submitted or published, and it can be edited or saved as a draft for future updates.

2. Assigned:

  • After publishing the RFI, it moves to the assigned status.

  • The RFI is now assigned to the relevant person or team responsible for addressing the query.

3. Re-assigned:

  • If the assigned RFI needs to be transferred to another individual or team, it can be re-assigned.

  • The re-assigned status indicates that the RFI has been assigned to a new recipient.

4. In-Progress:

  • Once the assigned person or team starts working on the RFI, it moves to the in-progress status.

  • This status indicates that the RFI is actively being addressed and a response is being prepared.

5. Edited:

  • If the RFI creator makes changes to the RFI details after it has been assigned or while it is in progress, the status changes to edited.

  • This status highlights that modifications have been made to the RFI.

6. Closed:

  • When the creator of the RFI is satisfied with the given response or believes that the RFI can be closed for any other reason, they can mark the RFI as closed.

  • The closed status indicates that the RFI has been resolved, and no further action is required.

Monitoring the status of RFIs helps you keep track of the progress and ensure timely resolution of queries within your construction projects. By utilizing our product’s RFI tracking feature, you can easily identify the current status of each RFI and facilitate effective communication among project stakeholders.
