Our product, Super Construct, provides a comprehensive system for tracking the progress and status of submittals in the construction industry. Here are the different statuses that a submittal can have:
1. Draft:
- When creating a new submittal, it starts in the draft status.
- The submittal is not yet submitted or published, allowing the creator to work on it and make necessary changes.
2. Assigned:
- After publishing the submittal, it transitions to the assigned status.
- The submittal is now assigned to the relevant person or team responsible for reviewing and taking necessary actions.
3. Re-assigned:
- If the assigned submittal needs to be transferred to another individual or team, it can be re-assigned.
- The re-assigned status indicates that the submittal has been assigned to a new recipient.
4. In-Progress:
- Once the assigned person or team starts working on the submittal, it moves to the in-progress status.
- This status signifies that the submittal is actively being reviewed, processed, or worked upon.
5. Approval Pending:
- For submittals with the purpose of seeking approval, the status becomes approval pending.
- The submittal is awaiting approval from the designated approver before it can proceed to the next stage.
6. Approved:
- If the designated approver approves the submittal, it is marked as approved.
- This status confirms that the submittal has received the necessary approval and can progress accordingly.
7. Rejected:
- In case the designated approver rejects the submittal, it changes to the rejected status.
- This status indicates that the submittal did not meet the required criteria or specifications and needs to be revised.
8. Edited:
- If any authorized user makes changes to the submittal after it has been assigned or while it is in progress, the status is updated to edited.
- This status reflects that modifications have been made to the submittal.
9. Closed:
- When the creator of the submittal is satisfied with the response or believes that the submittal can be closed for other reasons, they can mark it as closed.
- The closed status indicates that the submittal has been addressed, resolved, or completed.
Monitoring the status of submittals using Super Construct allows you to have a clear overview of the progress and ensures effective communication and timely resolution of submittal-related matters within your construction projects.
